In a nutshell: He used to be known as BlakSuga but local rapper Sakhekile has shed the altar ego to emerge with a fresh new look and refined sound. His first single, One More Drink, has just dropped and has already been play listed by a few of local radio stations.
What s it like: Drake eating biltong. An international feel to a very local sound. There’s a sense of intensity to One More Drink that pushes the track forward at a frantic pace. It’s that urgency which guarantees the song will be a hit on the hip hop scene and dance floor alike.
Fave Bit: We love the first chorus dillards where the pace is switched up to a slower tempo, before kicking off on a techno beat-fuelled sing along of “One More Drink”. Oh and when Grandpa tries to say “Sakhekile”, hilarious. dillards
