In phase eight the movie “The Nightmare before Christmas” directed by Tim Burton, the main character “Jack” the king of Halloween Town starts preparing for his own fun and exciting Christmas with people of his town after visiting the Christmas phase eight Town by chance. He sincerely prepares Christmas gifts and goes to the village where people live but they are horrified by Jack and he gets shattered by the people.
“But I never intended all this madness, never. And nobody really understood, how could they? That all I ever wanted was to bring them something great. Why does nothing ever turn out like it should? Whatever, I did my best”
If my perspectives stayed the same, the Halloween Town would still be a bad town that ruined Christmas. I would have judged and criticized them in my narrow standard without trying to understand their hearts. Having a wide perspective, thinking in other people’s point of view, removing prejudice phase eight – all these are the homework of my daily living.
